IONMEDS Disability Grant

IONMEDS, one of the industries most trusted suppliers of equipment for the disabled  and elderly are proud to announce the creation of the Disability Grant.  IONMEDS understands the importance of charity and giving to those who need assistance in the communities of the world.  The grants requirements are down below, good luck.

Grant's Purpose:

This grant is open to children with disabilities, in particular children that do not have functional gait skills and who lack postural control.  The purpose of the grant is to help lower income families with children that are disable purchase an posterior safety roller.  The family or individual winner of the grant will be given a new posterior roller for free.  The value of rollers such as these can cost upwards of $500 dollars.

Qualifying for Scholarship:

In order to qualify for the scholarship the family chosen must show 1) a need for a posterior walker and 2) prove there low income status.  A family has to have an combined income of no more than $45,000 to qualify for this grant.  The family has to have an child in need of an posterior walker.  A one page summary or close to a one page summary must be submitted detailing about the child, what disease or condition your child suffers from , why you feel your child should get the grant & what financial hardship the child and the family are going through.

Submission Dates:

We are accepting applications starting January 1, 2006 and ending August 31, 2007.  The grant winner will be announced Nov 23, 2007.
